Britney Spears announced Monday morning that after 4 years and over $103 million in ticket sales, her Las Vegas residency, Britney: Piece of Me, will be coming to an end on December 31st after over 200+ shows. Performed at Planet Hollywood’s AXIS Theater, the show has become a Vegas staple since its debut in December 2013.
In a tweet featuring dates for the final 18 shows, Britney said, “Saying goodbye to this show is going to be SO hard,” and added in an official statement, “I had no idea how magical this experience would be… I love Las Vegas and will miss performing in this show.”

Her manager, Larry Rudolph, noted though that this residency coming to an end doesn’t mean that another one is out of question in the future, telling the Las Vegas Review Journal, “Britney basically sells out every show, and she loves Las Vegas, she loves performing in Vegas, and Vegas is a possibility going forward.”
After recently announcing a bunch of international tour dates for this summer in places like Japan, Israel, and Manila, it wouldn’t be surprising if she hit the road around the U.S. again soon, but we’ll just have to see!
In the meantime, tickets for the final leg of Piece of Me shows goes on sale April 14th.
