Nicki Minaj Responds to “Anaconda” Haters

A viper with venom, this anaconda has a bootylcious body and isn’t afraid to show it. But some of public are saying that this pop star is showing a little too much skin. Throughout history the world has had the problem of what amount of skin shown is too inappropriate for viewing, from the scandalous flapper dress to the over-protective burkas. Only to come to the same conclusion, everyone in the world will have their own opinion on the right body image and they’re entitled to that.

In this case, we have a music icon Ms. Nicki Minaj on the front cover of Anaconda her newest single wearing a thin pink G-string that shows off all of her famous big booty. Now some may think that this pop diva is giving the wrong message to our young little girls by showing off body parts not appropriate for the viewing of children. To this I say that the audience, of which her music is aimed at, is not to the youth, if you’re letting your children listen to this music then you yourself are subjecting them to adult references.

Another thought brought up by viewers is that she is being inappropriate to seek attention, even though thousands of icons before her have had bare asses flashed and nip slips and they received more supportive responses. Minaj’s fans have stood by her saying that the entire thing has been read incorrectly and taken completely out of hand, so why so much ‘hate’ on a simple art piece.

They say music is a form of art and with some of the most horrifyingly scandalous art pieces hanging in public galleries for the world to see, can we really complain about an album sold in a music store for the public to buy? Not to mention the ridiculous amount of sports photography recently coming out that shows the bare skin of some famous athletics, and of course the monthly Zoo and Playboy Magazines often found in public news agencies where any child can accidentally read them.

Another common thing seen in popular television shows is the use of cartoons, from such things as fart jokes in Family Guy, to the photo copying of minion asses in Despicable Me. We subject our younger generations to so many inappropriate themes and violent displays that are hidden in the simplest form of television, cartoons and animation. Though children may not understand the simplicity of these dirty jokes, that doesn’t stop them from sharing or repeating it to their friends and I don’t see anyone making a large fuss over those issues.

The real reason why dear Nicki Minaj is being verbally abused is because she is a celebrity, she is a real live human being who can answer for her actions, whereas the large groups who created the cartoon or photography are difficult to get in contact with. This celebrity who just wanted to express herself and show you that you should be proud of your body no matter what shape or size, is being attacked. She is being told her body is not appropriate to be seen, especially because this is one of very few times Nicki has shown this large amount of skin to the public. Her anger towards this issue is completely justified.

Many of Minajs’ Twitter & Facebook fans and people from other public forums, have stood by her in defense to this Anaconda clip art as well as a lot of other famous celebrities. They have said that there are many other pressing issues in the world that are much more important and that this seems like a complete waste of time. Nicki Minaj was simply trying to express the confidence in her body that she thinks many others should show, this was a way of representing her latest album. The fact that so many seem to have a problem with this shows the shallow side of society, not thinking about the repercussions of their words and how they may hurt people.

Playboy, a fashion magazine or sports rag and then send them an aggressive email. Maybe you could watch some old cartoons or visit your local art gallery to see some naked women, then you may see that some things aren’t as bad as they seem.

Ms. Minaj stay strong as you have an amazing support base and if you at all have a problem with the picture of Nicki Minaj flashing her ass, then go pick up a copy of Playboy, a fashion magazine or sports rag and then send them an aggressive email. Maybe you could watch some old cartoons or visit your local art gallery to see some naked women, then you may see that some things aren’t as bad as they seem.
